Ruby Hottle Triplett

Ruby Hottle Triplett, age 63 of Surfside Beach, SC, formerly of Henry County, died Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Compass Post Acute Rehabilitation in Conway, SC. 

 

She formerly worked at both Tecumseh and the Hampton Inn in Paris, TN, for several years.  She enjoyed reading, dancing, and going to the movies.  She was Church of Christ.

 

Ruby was born February 20, 1954, in Paducah, KY, to the late Cletis Kalbacker and the late Flossie Trout Rasimas.

 

She is survived by her son, Greg Lassiter of Paris, TN; one grandchild, Noah Lassiter of Paris, TN; two sisters, Sandra Kay (Jeff) Kuykendall of Horatio, AR and Jorita West of Fort Worth, TX; one brother, Alan Dale Reed of Texas; three nieces, Kathy (Eddie) Drent of Horatio, AR, Kay (Daniel) Lindsey of DeQueen, AR, and Kellie Kuykendall of Horatio, AR; and one nephew, Alan Reed Lanier of Murray, KY.     

 

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Christopher Daniel Lassiter in 1973; and two sisters, Colleen Kalbacker and Mary Ann Whitebird.     

 

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Monday, June 26, 2017 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, with the funeral service at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with John Dale officiating.

 

Pallbearers will be Randy Lassiter, David Lassiter, Joe Thompson, Joe Jackson, Tony Triplett, and Steve Crater. 

 

Burial will follow in Hazel City Cemetery in Hazel, KY.
