Kathy Sadler

Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. On February 18, 2023, Kathrine “Kathy” Louise Sadler went home to be with Jesus and sing in that heavenly choir. She was just 62 years old.

Kathy was the head teller for Commercial Bank and Trust at the downtown Paris Branch. She was a 1979 graduate of Henry County High School. Kathy was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church.

Born December 6, 1960, in Fort Hood, Texas, she was the daughter of the late George Stewart and the late Mary Kathrine Summerfield Stewart.

Kathy married Ronnie Sadler June 27, 1987, at the former Calvary United Methodist Church, that was located in Paris. They welcomed their oldest daughter Katrina (Mason) Sadler Sykes on June 25, 1989, & their younger daughter Mary Kathrine (Will Watkins) Sadler on March 25, 1993. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Ryker Sykes, Eli Rowland, Maddie Sykes, Carter Rowland, & Oliver Rowland. She is also survived by her brother Andy (Tracy) Stewart, her nephew Marc (Tanya) Stewart, her niece Kristina (Russell) Howe, nephew Jonathan (Kim) Stewart, grandnephew, Jacob Howe, Emerson Stewart, & baby Stewart due in April.

While Kathy’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Kathy in a way that honors her spirit. Her husband Ronnie, daughters Katrina & Mary Kathrine invite the community to join them in a Celebration of Life Ceremony to be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Maplewood Baptist Church 8700 Hwy 218, Paris, TN 38242. A time for gathering will be held from 4-6 pm, with a Celebration Service to begin at 6pm.  Ben Whitmire and Jim Twilbeck will officiate the service.
