Roy E. Wright, age 67 of Paris, TN, died Friday, October 19, 2018, at his Residence.
He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Army. Roy retired as a mortgage broker, who enjoyed motorcycles, RC Airplanes, reading, and watching TV. He was formerly a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. He was a member of the Palestine Methodist Church.
He was married November 6, 1976, to Janice Winters Wright who survives of Paris.
Roy was born October 26, 1950, to the late Kenneth Owen Wright and the late Cornelia Smith Wright.
Along with his wife, he is survived his two children, Amanda (Shane) Flood of Paris, TN, and Kevin (Beth) Wright of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Brenda Amburgey of Henry, TN, and Bonnie (Steve) Miles of Mission, TX; three grandchildren, Bransen Singleton, Jackson Flood and Evan Wright.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, James Steven Wright.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN, where visitation will be Monday, October 22, 2018, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and continue Tuesday, October 23, 2018, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home with Alan Trull and Corey Cain officiating.
Pallbearers for the service are Bransen Singleton, Shane Flood, Tommy Swor, Ken Wright, Johnny Whitworth and Jason Coffield.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackson Flood and Evan Wright.
Burial will be in the Palestine Cemetery in Paris, TN.
