Barbara Jean Beasley

Barbara Jean Beasley, age 82 of Springville, TN, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2026, at her residence.

Barbara was born in Dover, TN, on September 2, 1943, to the late Benjamin Vernon Atkins, and the late Ruby Sexton Atkins.

She married Jerry Don Beasley at Springville Baptist Church on December 7, 1962. Jerry survives of Springville, TN.

Barbara graduated from Springville School in 1961. She was a faithful member of Springville Baptist Church, where she served as the church secretary. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always took care of her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by three children, Donald Beasley of Sale Creek, TN, Jerry K. (Diane) Beasley of Medina, TN, and Ben Beasley of Springville, TN; one sister, Gertrude Riggins of Dover, TN; three grandchildren, Kyle Beasley of Loveland, CO, Andrew Beasley of Medina, TN, and Blake (Emma) Beasley of Paris, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn (Ed) Bogard; two brothers, Billy Atkins, and Dalton (Hazel) Atkins; and one brother-in-law, Sonny Riggins.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bobby Sanders officiating.

Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery with Jerry K. Beasley, Ben Beasley, Andrew Beasley, Blake Beasley, Duard Parsons, and Jonathan Parsons officiating.
