Beatrice Cook

Beatrice Veltman Cook, age 82, of Paris, Tenn., died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Hillview Community Living Center in Dresden, Tenn.

She was Married July 21, 1951 to Otha Claude Cook and he preceded in death July 3, 1999.

She was a Baptist and Formerly worked at Dreshu; Salant & Salant and Paris Fashions in Paris, TN.

She was the daughter of the late Willie C. Boyd and the late Etna R. Jones  Boyd.

She is survived by Daughter-Cynthia "Cindy" Cook (Michael Virgil) Noss of Paris, Tenn.;   Step Daughter-Shirley Raney of Paris, Tenn;    Son-Malcolm Cook of Paris, Tenn;    Step Son-Claude Cook of Paris, Tenn.    3 sisters, Mary Elizabeth "Allene"  Boyd Clayton of Memphis, Tenn, Eva G. Boyd Pierce of Ohio, Betty Boyd Carter of Paris, Tenn;     Brother-Jimmy Boyd of Buchanan, Tenn.     2 Grandchildren, Melissa Noss (Blake) Creddock of Paris, Russell (Amanda Mitchell) Noss of Independence, KY;     Great Grandchildren, Hunter Peyton Noss, Summer Noelle Noss, Taylor Olivia Noss, Dylan Tristan Baynes, and Natalie Alese Baynes;    and Several Step-Grandchildren, Step-Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

She was also preceded in death by sister, Myrtle Canady, and Brothers, Leon Boyd, Gene Boyd and Gerald Thomas Boyd in infancy; Step Son-in-law, Hubert Roy Gilbert Raney Sr.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013.

The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Russell Noss is officiating.

Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
