Betty Ann Carroll Replogle, age 88, of Henry, TN passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
She was born on June 10, 1937, in Milan, TN, to the late Frank L. Carroll and the late Edna Lusk Carroll.
Mrs. Replogle was a graduate of Milan High School where she was a starting player on the 1955 TSSAA Girls State Championship basketball team. On December 18, 1954, she married her high school sweetheart Nathan Replogle. They shared 71 years of marriage until his passing on January 9, 2026. Together, they owned and operated the family sawmill and logging business for more than 50 years.
Mrs. Replogle was a generous supporter of numerous charitable causes, especially St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, The Elephant Sanctuary, and the United Children's Fund, through which she sponsored multiple children over 50 years. She was also a dedicated advocate for animals, a passion shared by her husband and daughters.
She is survived by daughters Dawn (Phil) Clements, Lissa (Bruce) Wright, and Vanessa Replogle; her grandchildren Jonathan Clements, Karine (Donald) Dunn, Stephen (Chrissie) Clements, Katherine (Kaitlyn) Dicus, and Lee (Jasmine Vinson) Dicus; her great-grandchildren Addison Dunn, Vivian Dunn, Anneliese Dicus, Kira Dicus; and her brother Robert Carroll of Martin, TN.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Edna Lusk Carroll and Frank L. Carroll; her sister Merlene Carroll Burress and husband Ray; and her brothers, Frank Carroll Jr. and wife Eva Nell, Richard Carroll and wife Mary; and sister-in-law Kay Pritchett Carroll.
In accordance with Mrs. Replogle's wishes, there will be no public services. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Nathan in the family cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carroll County Humane Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or The Elephant Sanctuary.
