Beverly Ann Zorn

Beverly Ann Zorn, age 69, of Puryear, Tennessee, passed away on December 7, 2025.

Born on October 25, 1956, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to the late Edward N. Brandt and to the late Muriel Martins Brandt.

Beverly married John Luther Zorn on September 25, 1977. John preceded her in death on April 26, 2025.

Beverly graduated from Chatsworth High School and enjoyed a successful career as a banking officer at Vermilion Valley Bank, where she worked for over 30 years. She was known for her unwavering commitment to her job and her community. Beverly was an active member of Puryear Baptist Church, serving on various committees and cherishing her time in her ladies bible study class. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was deeply involved in the church’s activities. In addition to her church involvement, Beverly was a former member of the Puryear Lions Club and embraced every opportunity to lend a helping hand. She had a passion for the outdoors, often spending her weekends boating and camping. She especially loved Panama City Beach. Above all, Beverly cherished the moments spent with her family, reveling in gatherings where they could all be together, particularly enjoying time on the boat. Surviving Beverly are her beloved son, Bryan (Sara) Zorn of Piper City, IL; daughter, Megan (Josh) Buckman of Columbus Junction, IA; sister, Donna (Mike) Sriver of Chatsworth, IL; brothers, Gary (Joy) Brandt of Magnolia, DE, and Jim (Sue) Brandt of Kankakee, IL; mother-in-law, Hattie Zorn of Paris, TN; and brother-in-law, Ron Zorn of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Kennedy Buckman, Paisley Buckman, and Boston Buckman.

Along with her parents and husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Zorn.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones for a public viewing at Puryear Baptist Church on December 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at Puryear Baptist Church at 1:00 PM officiated by Rodney Alexander and Larry Simmons.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Zorn, Megan Buckman, Josh Buckman, Jim Brandt, Sara Zorn, & Jimmy Brandt. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Brandt, Donna Sriver, Vickie Miller, Kelly Berry, Sue Shetley, Janet Livengood, Diane Hale, Brad Brandt & the Puryear ladies bible study class.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Puryear Baptist Church Building Fund, 10060 Hwy 641 N, Puryear, TN 38251.

Burial will be at Chatsworth-Charlotte Cemetery in Chatsworth, IL on Tuesday December 23, 2025.
