Billy Bowen

Billy Joe Bowen, age 47 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

He formerly worked at Jones Plastics in Camden, TN, and Turner’s Landscaping, and Dana Corporation, both in Paris. Billy loved hunting, fishing, and all animals. He enjoyed dirt track racing and drag racing.

Billy was born March 5, 1977, in Murray, KY, to the late Billie Eugene Bowen and the late Vickie Jo Adams Bowen.

He is survived by his three children, Jayson Bowen of Daytona Beach, FL, Joey Bowen (Robin Serrano) of Paris, TN, and Mistie Bowen of Murray, KY; one sister, Wanda (James) Wilks of Benton, KY; one brother, Rodney Greer (Crystal Hinson) of Benton, KY; four nieces, Madison Hinson, Kiley Hinson, Kahlan Greer, and Shelby Greer; and his former wife & mother of his children, Melissa Coles and her father, Reggie Coles.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Jeremy Greer.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with a private, family memorial service to be held at a later date.
