Longtime timber worker and driver Billy Ray Parker, 63, of
Mayfield died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Vanderbilt Medical
Center in Nashville.
Local survivors are a son, Michael (Sharon) Krezinski; two
sisters: Peggy Taylor and Betty Hutchenson; and a brother:
Bennie Joe Parker, all of Paris.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral
Home.
Chad Kennedy will officiate. Burial will be in Bevil Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers are George Moore, Robert Anderson,
James Krezinski, Glen Riley, Franklin Hutchison and James
Greer.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday.
Born Aug. 15, 1949, in Sedalia, Ky., he was a son of the late
Bennie B. and Alice Geneva Brandon Parker.
Parker was a former skidder driver for Murphey Logging in
Mayfield.
He also leaves one other son: William Charles “Charley”
(Stephanie) Parker of Camden; three grandchildren; and a
special friend: Jean Roberts of Mayfield.
