Brenda Gail Hosford

Brenda Gail Hunter Hosford, age 78 of Paris, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Charter Senior Living of Paris.

She was born in Paris, TN, on June 10, 1947, to the late Rozell Hunter and the late Dorotha Call Hunter.

Brenda graduated from E.W. Grove School in 1965. She spent over 15 years at Commercial Bank and Trust, where she advanced to Vice President, and later served as Vice President at First Bank for more than 10 years.

She was a longtime member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ and recently attended VanDyke Church of Christ. Brenda was a member of the Paris Quota Club, Red Hat Society, and the Retired Bankers Club. She cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was well known for her rooster collection from across the years.

Brenda is survived by one son, Tony (Tracy) Lacy of Paris, TN; four grandchildren, Katelyn (Dillon) Faith, Hunter Lacy, Brandon Caldwell, and Logan Lacy; a great-grandchild, Turner Faith; two sisters, Patricia Walker and Margaret Cherry, both of Paris, TN; and a sister-in-law, Elise Hunter of Nashville, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her first husband, Charles Lacy; second husband, Billy Hart; third husband, Gordan Wynn; fourth husband, Danny Hosford; a brother, Dwayne Hunter; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Walker and Jerry Cherry.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, April 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Randy Stephens.

Burial will follow at Sulphur Well Cemetery with David Hunter, Jeff Hunter, James Hart, Bobby Walker, Jesse McCaslin, and Josh McCaslin serving as pallbearers.
