Brenda Joyce Oliver

Brenda Joyce Oliver, age 82, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Springville, TN.

Brenda was born April 7, 1943, in Fulton, KY, to the late Robert Choate and the late Dorothy Nell Brown Choate.

She was a resident of Springville, TN and a faithful member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church of Buchanan, TN. She married John Robert Oliver of Sikeston, MO on August 20, 1961. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2000.

She leaves behind one son, Robert Randall Oliver of Springville, TN; one granddaughter, Emily; one grandson, Patrick; two great-granddaughters, Emily and Annalise; one great-grandson, Darren; one sister-in-law, Judy (Dennis) Suiter; and several special nieces and nephews.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Her remains are to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Point Pleasant Baptist Church on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Point Pleasant Baptist Church-Building Fund.
