Cap Ross Watkins, age 93, of Paris, Tenn., died Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Leroy Smith and formerly worked for Laird Brick Co. in Puryear, TN.
Mr. Watkins was a son of the late Frank Watkins and the late Lena Cathy Watkins.
He is survived by his Step Daughter, Linda Keels of North Carolina; Step Son, Don Jackson of Cleveland, Tenn.; Brother, Fred (Elaine) Watkins of Cottage Grove, Tenn.; and several Nieces and Nephews.
Cap was preceded in death by his Wife, Katherine Bowman Watkins, Step Daughter, Joyce Lampela, Step Son, Charles Jackson; Sisters, Katie Belle Gansner, Alberta Lauer, Virginia Harvey, Hazel Yarbrough; and Brother, Mack Watkins
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 and after 11a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 until the Funeral service at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m.
Tim Wagoner will officiate.
Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
