Carol Askew

Carol Askew, age 82 of Paris, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Paris.

Carol was born on October 3, 1942, in Paris, TN, to the late Ernest McFadden, and the late Jewell Granger McFadden.

Carol was a member of the Paris First Church of the Nazarene. She spent many years as a babysitter, as well as maintaining several rental properties. She enjoyed walking, yardwork, playing bingo, and swinging on her porch swing.

She is survived by her two daughters, Lesa (Michael) Cox of Paris, TN, and Tammy Greenhill of Dover, TN; one sister, Carrie Villaflor of Parsons, TN; four grandchildren, Jamie Cox, Cliff Cox, Tyler (Cassandra Hamilton) Cox, and Madison Greenhill; and several special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Dudley McFadden, Wesley McFadden, Wayne McFadden, and Harold McFadden.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Garden with Tyler Cox, Jamie Cox, Tracy McFadden, Steve McFadden, Chris Villaflor, and Tommy Villaflor serving as pallbearers.
