The funeral service for Paris native and assisted living and hospital administrative assistant Carol Hutson Fayette of Dickson was at 11 a.m. Monday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery at Buchanan.

Chosen as pallbearers were Syd, Seth, Tommy, Chip, Jamie, Chris and Joey Hutson and Kerry Hinson.

Fayette, 71, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at the home of a daughter, Cindy Olive Cullen in Bowling Green, Ky.

Born Sept. 27, 1941, in Paris, she was a daughter of the late Rudy Cleveland Hutson and Mary Mabel Lassiter Hutson.

She was married on July 3, 1971, to Albert “Arky” Dewitt Fayette, who died in May 1990.

Fayette formerly worked as an administrative assistant at Goodlark Hospital in Dickson and most recently had been an administrative assistant for Olive Branch Assisted Living in Dickson.

She also leaves three other daughters: Pat Olive of Fairview, Pamela Reid of Memphis and Jan (Kenneth) Black of Byhalia, Miss.; three sons: Vince (Rusty Ross) Fayette of Brentwood, Mike (Libby) Fayette of Columbia, Mo., and Stan Fayette of Memphis;

Two sisters: Bettye (Garry) Hinson of Paris and Sherry (Jamie) Miller of Jackson; three brothers: Jim (Deb) Hutson of Gleason, Bill (Joan) Hutson of Springville and Mike (Pam) Hutson of Cottage Grove;

Two sisters-in-law: Diann Hutson and Carolyn Bobo; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Deborah Joan Hutson; and two brothers: Don and Rex Hutson.
