Carse Gene "Bud" Manning

Carse Gene “Bud” Manning, II, age 65 of Springville, TN, died Monday, March 1, 2021, at his residence.

He retired after many years as a truck driver, a job that he loved.  Bud enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, collecting trains, and NASCAR.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Bud was born February 17, 1956, in Germany, to the late Carse Gene Manning and the late Glenda Manning Glisson.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah (Derrick) Foust of Paris; his stepfather, Kenneth Glisson of Paris; two brothers, Calvin (Theresa) Manning of Cottage Grove, TN, and Lee Manning of Cottage Grove, TN; and four grandchildren, Sierra Foust, Camron Foust, Silas Foust, and Saige Foust.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank Manning.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Tommy Willis officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.
