Charles Ernest "Ernie" Mcfadden

Charles Ernest "Ernie" McFadden, age 65 of Paris, TN, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Henry County Medical Center.

He was a truck driver for Delta Contracting in Paris. Ernie loved working on old cars, attending auctions whether they were live or online, and was always piddling and staying busy. He was Baptist in faith.

Ernie was born November 24, 1956, in Detroit, MI, to the late Charles Dudley McFadden and to the late Margaret Weigold. He was raised by his grandmother Jewell McFadden, who preceded him in death. After her death, two special aunts Carrie Villaflor of Parsons, and Carol Askew of Paris looked after him.

He married on June 28, 2002, to Mandy Campbell McFadden, who survives of Paris.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Crystal (Joe) Buhl of Big Sandy, and Kimberley (Eric) Wallett of Paris; one sister, June (Johnny) Williams of Leesburg, VA; two brothers, Kenneth McFadden of Paris, and Mark Weigold of Knoxville; five grandchildren, Ethen (Maddi Ray) Skinner, Tyler (Victoria) Burns, Scott (Destiny) Wallett, Eric Wallet Jr., and Emmalyn Wallett; four great grandchildren, Adrian Burns, Hayden Burns, Charlie Wallett, and Deliliah Wallet.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 4 until 7 pm, and continue on Thursday, February 24, 2022, after 10 am until the time of the service. His funeral service will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 11 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Joel Turner officiating.

A committal service with Military Honors will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 1:30 PM at the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads 593 Wildersville Road, Wildersville, TN 38388.
