Charley Bowden

Charley Ray Bowden age 61 of Paris, died Sunday, March 28, 2021, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

Charley retired from Arnold’s Fabrication in Camden, TN, where he was a welder.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and restoring old cars. He loved riding his Harley- Davidson motorcycle.

Born October 5, 1959, in Paris, he was the son of the late Walter Haskell “Buddy” Bowden and the late Ruby Lee Boatwright Bowden.

He is survived by his son, Walter Ray “Buddy” Bowden of Paris; a sister, Toni Kaye Bowden of Henry, two brothers, Steve Bowden, and Larry Bowden both of Paris; and three grandchildren, Raegan Bowden, Alex Bowden and Brianna Ray Bowden.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Bowden Taylor.

Arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ PO Box 788 Paris, TN 38242.

His body is to be cremated with no formal services planned.
