Christopher Michael Pierce

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Christopher Michael Pierce, 52, of Paris, TN, who departed on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Memphis, TN.

Chris was born to the late Bobby Pierce and Brenda Burton Kirksey on October 15, 1972.

A proud Baptist, Chris delighted in outdoor pursuits, particularly hunting and fishing with his beloved Grandpa Burton. Chris had a large and loving extended family, with whom he shared many wonderful memories of vacations and holidays. In addition to his family life, Chris also had a distinguished military career, serving as a Marine in the United States military and later as a Presidential Guard during the administration of Bill Clinton.

Chris is survived by his mother, Brenda Burton Kirksey, his stepfather, Steve Kirksey of Paris; one sister, Karen Pierce Jackson (Heather), one nephew, Lucas and two nieces, Taylor and Madison of Sherwood, AR.

Along with his father, Chris was also preceded in death by one infant brother, Benjamin L. Pierce.

Chris will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Everett Holloway officiating.
