Roy Henry

Clarence Roy Henry, age 69 of Paris, TN, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Roy was born in Galesburg, IL, on August 27, 1956, to the late Gerald Henry and the late Myrtle Henry.

On July 5, 1997, he married Patsy Henry, who survives of Paris, TN.

Roy retired as a Public Affairs Specialist for the National Guard and the United States Government in 2013. His earlier service included eight years in the U.S. Navy, from 1974 to 1982. He later joined the Henry County Property Assessor’s Office, where he worked until his retirement in August 2025.

Roy was a Christan and a member of GraceLife Church in Paris. He had a passion for history and enjoyed fishing, as well as his involvement with the Henry County Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Ryan Henry of Alamo, TN, and Caitlyn Green of Lexington, KY; three step-children, Angela (John) Wilcox of Clinton, TN, Richie (Mary) Hatcher of Franklin, TN, and Brad Hatcher of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Mary Lyn Davisson, and Kimberly Carroll; and ten grandchildren.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling local arrangements. A memorial visitation will be held at Ridgeway Funeral Home, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Mike Wimberley and Brian Wimberley.
