Daniel Jordan "DJ" Russell

Daniel Jordan “DJ” Russell, age 32 of Big Sandy, TN, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He was employed at Best One Tire in Jackson, TN.  DJ loved riding around with his daughter, Braelynn, and singing songs together.  He enjoyed swimming and going to the river.  He was always helping and serving others.

DJ was born April 25, 1991, in Knoxville, TN, to Danny Russell and Melissa Gilbert Russell, who both survive, of Big Sandy, TN.

Along with his parents, he is also survived by his daughter, Braelynn Faith-Ann Russell of Big Sandy, TN; his aunts, Tina Gilbert, Tammy Gilbert, and Michelle Beechum; his uncles, Roy (Becky) Russell, and Jeff (Jeanne) Russell; and the mother of his daughter, Kelsey Pearson.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated.  A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Big Sandy City Park in Big Sandy, TN.
