Dannie D. Allen

Dannie D. Allen, age 59 of Henry, TN, died Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Dannie was a licensed Baptist minister and loved talking to people about the Lord. He was an active member of Henry Baptist Church and earned his master's degree from Bethel University. He enjoyed painting, wood burning, hunting, and fishing. He loved watching nature from his back porch and being with his family and the Misfits.

Dannie was born November 7, 1960, in Paris, TN, to the late Virgil Allen and the late Jeanie White Allen.

He was married September 18, 1981, to Cheryl Lynn Allen, who preceded him in death on April 10, 2020.

He is survived by two sons, Dakotah (Toni) Allen of Springville, TN, and Jacob Allen of Henry, TN; one brother, Jody (Laura) Allen of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Siris Allen and Emerson Allen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the Misfit family.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Timmy Allen.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with celebration of life to be held at a later date
