Darlene Ellen Poggensee

Darlene Ellen Poggensee, age 75 of Mansfield, TN, died Sunday, January 7, 2024, at her residence in Mansfield.

Darlene was a retired LPN. She formerly worked at Hillhaven Nursing Home in Huntingdon, TN. She enjoyed genealogy, crocheting, riding horses and dancing. Darlene loved studying her bible and was an avid reader of her bible.

Darlene was born July 31, 1948, in Evansville, IN, to the late Joseph Daniel Crouch and the late Agnes Stallings.

She married Wayne Lyle Poggensee on April 4, 1997, who survives of Mansfield.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her three children, Kimberly Shea (Shane) Barrs of Ripley, TN, Stacie Lynn Gabino of Jacksonville, FL, and Leah Danielle (David I.) Bell of McKenzie, TN; one brother, Robert (Bobby) Crouch of Mansfield, OH; eleven grandchildren, Joseph (Melissa) Bell, Brittany Bell, Jesse (Bethany) Bell, Bethany A. Bell, Lacey Bell, Rachel Harwell, Daniel Smith, Debbie Pardue, Jan (James) Brotherton, Billy (LeAnna) Pardue, and Ashley Wilson; and 25 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother Carl David Crouch.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
