David H. Hopper

David H. Hopper age 56 of Paris, TN, died Monday, July 13, 2026, at the TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

David worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He formerly owned and operated Hopper Trucking in Memphis, TN, and lastly worked for Norwood Construction in Henry, TN. He was a family man who loved spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and his racing family. His passion in life was Hot Rods. He enjoyed racing them, working on them, and his latest project was building a hot rod with his grandson Justin.

He married Rebecca Ann “Becky” Hopper April 3, 1990, and she survives of Paris.

Born July 25, 1969, in Camden, TN, he was the son of the late William Henry Hopper, Jr., and the late Jewel Ray Haggard Hopper.

Along with his wife of thirty-six years, he is also survived by his daughter Christi (Leslie D, III) of Puryear, TN; three grandchildren, Justin Evans, Dallas Evans, and Montana Evans; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandchild Bryston Evans.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN 38242 will be handling the arrangements. His body is to be cremated with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
