David Winsett

March 12, 1948 — November 19, 2013

David Leon Winsett, age 65, of Paris, Tennessee, ascended to eternity with his Savior on November 19, 2013, at Henry County Medical Center.

Born March 12, 1948, he graduated from Springville High School in 1966.  A toolmaker by trade, he was employed by Holley Carburetor for nine years, after which he was the owner and operator of Winsett Tool Inc.  David loved the Lord and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lalia Brewer Winsett, and three daughters, Dana (John) Chango of Clarksville, TN, Lindsay (Nathan) Smith of White House, TN, and Kasey (Cliff) Barna of McKenzie, TN; 6 grandchildren, CJ, David, and Eli Chango, Natalie, Maddy, and John Patrick Smith, and sisters, Sissie (Eddie) Wiltshire and Robin (Tommy) Pierce of Paris, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred “Bud” and Violet Toombs Winsett.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2013, from 4-7:00 p.m. and Friday, November 22, 2013, after 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Officiating at the service will be sons-in-law, Nathan Smith, Cliff Barna, and John Chango.  Rev. Jolinne Downey, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, will be ministering in song.

Burial will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Eddie Wiltshire, Ronnie Charlton, Kevin Phifer, David Gilbreth,   Mike Plumley, and Louis Robbins

Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Tommy Pierce, Ray Winsett, and Wayne Winsett.

Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 409 Wilson Street, Paris, TN  38242.
