David Franklin Chadwick, age 61 of Buchanan, TN, died Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his residence.
He was a master mold maker for Dana Corporation in Paris for 42 years. He enjoyed working and spending time on the farm. David loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren, but, most of all, he loved Jesus Christ. He was a member and a deacon of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Buchanan where he served faithfully. Those who knew him best described David as a fighter, battling cancer to the very end.
David was born November 29, 1960, in Model, TN, to the late Melvin Franklin Chadwick and the late Rheda Inez Allen Chadwick.
He was married July 16, 1982, to his wife of 39 years, Karen Chadwick, who survives, of Buchanan.
Along with his wife, he is also survived by his two sons, Jason (Tiffany) Chadwick of Buchanan, and Justin (Jennifer) Chadwick of Buchanan; one sister, Becky (George) Glass of Buchanan; one brother, Wendell Chadwick of Buchanan; one sister-in-law, Lisa Chadwick of Buchanan; two grandchildren, Jasper Chadwick and Ainsley Chadwick; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Lena Fay Grey; and two brothers, Anthony Chadwick and Chris Chadwick.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 11:00 – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Chadwick, Justin Chadwick, Colby Ferguson, Barry Yeager, John McNutt, and Allen McCormick
Burial will be on the Chadwick Family Farm in Buchanan, TN.
