Debra A. Townsend

Debra Anne Townsend, age 73 of Paris, TN, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Paris, TN, on August 13, 1952, to the late Joseph Leonard Townsend, and the late Dorothy Ann Nesbitt Townsend.

She was a graduate of Henry County High School. She then attended nursing school before becoming a home health nurse for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her cats, playing the bass guitar, and listening to music, especially Bob Dylan.

Debra is survived by her fiancé, Michael Vandersee of Paris, TN; two grandchildren, Joseph (Savannah) Outland, and Jonathan (Kate) Outland; two great-grandchildren, Francisco Outland and Ava Outland; and her good-friend, Mike Dryml.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marcia Townsend.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Her remains are to be cremated with no public services scheduled at this time.
