Diana Bevill

Diana Bevill, age 70 of Buchanan, TN died Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on February 9, 1956, in Memphis, TN, to the late Dr. Joe D. Mobley, Sr. and to the late Carolyn Morgan Mobley.

Diana married James Richard Bevill on September 28, 1974, and he survives of Buchanan.

She dedicated over 40 years of her life to a nursing career that she loved every day, even when it was work. But, there is nothing she loved more than her family. She was an amazing cook and baker, always ready to prepare a meal for holidays or Sundays, or the middle of the day. She loved to garden, and she enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife from her porch.

Besides her husband Richard, Diana is also survived by her daughter, Amy (Tommy) Pettit; her son, James (Samantha) Bevill, all of Buchanan; two sisters, Carol (Joe) Boggess of Columbus, MS, and Janie (Charles) Nash of Springville, TN; one brother, Dr. Joe D. (Karolyn) Mobley, Jr. of Paris; sister-in-law, Debbie Fuzzell; six grandchildren, Anna (Perry) Atkins, Jake Pettit, Josey (Lewis) Hudson, Charli Pettit, Dylan Bevill, and Layla Bevill; two great-grandchildren, Rhys Atkins, and Bo Atkins; and many nieces and nephews that she has loved as her own.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. No visitation is planned. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 11:00 am with Chad Kennedy officiating and The Nurses Final Farewell Honors.
