Diana Faye Lanius

Diana Faye Lanius, age 85 of Paris, TN, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She was born on August 22, 1940, to the late James Richard Petty, and the late Evelyn Elizabeth Presson Petty.

Diana married Charles Henry Lanius on May 31, 1958. Charles preceded her in death on March 30, 2002.

She spent many years working in Jim Adams' office in Paris, Tennessee, before moving to Cicero, Illinois, where she retired from Saporito Finishing Co. She was a faithful member of Union Friendship Baptist Church and was actively involved in Linda Winchester's Sunday School class. She cherished her time with her TOPS group, enjoyed playing cards, and loved spending time with her family.

Diana is survived by three children, Janice (Gary) Teliszczak of Paris, TN, Joyce Lanius of Paris, TN, and Richard Lanius of Palmersville, TN; and five grandchildren, Jacob (Julie) Teliszczak, Justin (Brian) Teliszczak, Raymond (Kristin) Socha, Jr., Stephen Socha, and Ryan (Ruth Ann Robertson) Lanius.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Willa Kaye Patterson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Kerry Shopher officiating.

Burial will follow at Palestine Cemetery with Mrs. Diana’s grandsons and nephews to serve as pallbearers.

TOPS Club members will serve as honorary pallbearers.
