Donnie Edward Barnhill

Donnie Edward Barnhill, age 85 of Buchanan, TN, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Henry County Hospital.

Donnie was born in Henry County, TN, on November 23, 1939, to the late William Edward Barnhill and the late Eunice Todd Barnhill.

He was an avid fisher and hunter, who spent many hours on Kentucky Lake. He spent over 25 years working at Holley Carburetor in Paris. Donnie spent time farming with his brother, Terry. He enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, and Tennessee Volunteer Football and Basketball.

Donnie is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Hall of Buchanan, TN; one brother, Terry Barnhill of Buchanan, TN; two granddaughters, Christina Hall of Buchanan, TN, and Amanda Weatherford of Buchanan, TN; and two great-granddaughters, Alyssa Hudgins, and LileeAna Weatherford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Michael S. Barnhill, and Rhonda K. Barnhill; one sister, Regenia Thomason; and one grandchild, Tara Nicole Hall.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, is handling the arrangements. His remains are to be cremated with a Graveside Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Shady Grove Cemetery, with Don Williams officiating.
