Dorothy Jean Priddy, age 81, of Cottage Grove, Tenn., died Saturday, December 5, 2015, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She was a former waitress in the Chicago area who enjoyed visiting Tunica, MS. She was Baptist in faith.
She was born August 11, 1934 in Puryear, TN to the late Wayne McCuiston and the late Carolyn Lamb Hutchens.
Dorothy Jean is survived by her two Daughters, Edna (Terry) Priddy Nolan of Cottage Grove, TN and Jo Ann (Dennis) Doweidt of Houston, Texas; Five Grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Veazey, Pat (Brandy) Veazey, Michael (Barbara) Doweidt, Robin (Jim) Zanoni, and Mark (Dena) Doweidt; and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Wayne Priddy and a sister in infancy.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, Tenn., where the visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm Monday December 7, 2015 and from 9 - 10:30 am Tuesday, December 8, 2015. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Walker Cemetery with Jess Hedges officiating. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
