Dorothy “Neda” Sinclair, 87, of Springville died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at her home overlooking "Her" Kentucky Lake where she had owned property since 1955 and was the last of the original land owners of Lake Hill Beach Estates. She died surrounded by the love and laughter of her children. She was a retired Paris Social Security office processor.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Antioch United Methodist Church, where she was a member, part of the United Methodist Women’s group and on the board of trustees.
Paul McAdoo and Linda Hilliard will officiate.
Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Chosen as pallbearers are Davey Cullen II, Sean Cullen, Larry and Andy Bolding, Charlie Foust and Kyle Sinclair.
Visitation will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
Born Sept. 5, 1925, in Bemis, she was a daughter of the late Henry Frank Hailey and Rubye Verlena Hollingsworth Hailey Heavrin.
She was married on Dec. 1, 1967, to Robert V. “Bob” Sinclair, who died Sept. 24, 2007.
She leaves two daughters: Anne (Dave) Peddy Cullen and Lee (Eric) Owenby, both of Springville; three sons: John Peddy and Art (Sharon) Sinclair, both of Springville and Richard (Becky) Sinclair of Paris; two sisters: Jane (Larry) Bolding of Paris and Mary Lee King of Paducah; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
