The funeral service for former factory worker Edith Lane Hart of Springville was scheduled at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Dwight Turner was to officiate. Burial was to follow in Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers were Jay and Jerry Patterson, Jason Parrish, Jim Knight, Justin Warriner and Shane Swor.
Visitation was Wednesday from 11 am until 4 pm
Hart, 93, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at Henry County Healthcare Center.
Born Sept. 27, 1919, in Mansfield, she was a daughter of the late Clarence T. and Jennie Walker Sanders.
She was married on Feb. 27, 1942, to Vernon B. Hart, who died Dec. 30, 1986.
She was a member of Manleyville Pentecostal Church and formerly worked at Holley carburetor plant in Paris and General Electric in Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.
Survivors are three daughters: Carolyn “Faye” Hart of Henry, Ruth (Jim) Knight of Springville and Joan (Ernie) Cavasinni of Mentor, Ohio; one son: William “Bill” (Shirley) Hart of Dalton, Ga.;
Thirteen grandchildren: Linda Lindsey, Barbara (Bubba) Warriner, Jeff (Christie) Hart, Jennifer (Toby) Venar, Brian (Amy) Vargo, Shannon Vargo, Jason (Valarie) Vargo, Sherry Hart, Dalton “Jay” Patterson, Jerry Patterson, Tonya (Jason) Parrish, Tammy (David) Sutton and Brian (Amy) Vargo; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two sons: Ralph and Bobby Hart; four sisters: Ruth and Martha Mead, Lucille Bond and Irene Antonelli; five brothers: James, L.D., Terry, Oliver and Glenn Sanders; and three grandchildren: Rita and Robert Stair and Rhonda Hart.
