Edward Bell Hicks

Edward Bell Hicks, age 71, of Martin, TN, died at West Tennessee Healthcare of Martin on Wednesday July 2, 2025.

Edward was born in Martin, TN on December 18, 1953, to the late Dossie Hicks and to the late Vivian Elliott Hicks.

On June 7, 2006, he married Teresa Alice Osborne Hicks. She died January 13, 2015.

Edward was a member of Palmersville Baptist Church in Palmersville, TN. In recent years, he spent his time visiting his neighbors, friends and the staff at Martin Healthcare. He enjoyed talking to the staff at Ridgeway Funeral Home over the phone and liked to be first on the list for the next year’s calendars.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with his funeral service following visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Burial will follow at Palmersville Cemetery in Palmersville, TN.
