Elva Enoch Medlock

Elva Enoch Medlock, age 85 of Paris, TN, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Elva was born in Detroit, MI, on March 23, 1941, to the late Carl Enoch, and the late Inez Hall Enoch.

She retired after 28 years of service as a bus driver for the Henry County School System. She enjoyed taking pictures, sewing, quilting, and shopping, especially for her grandchildren. She loved her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church.

Elva is survived by two sons, Douglas Ray Medlock of Owensboro, KY; Jeff (Brenda) Medlock of Winchester, TN; and four grandchildren, Riley Medlock, Carly (Daniel) Hardy, Jaisen Paul Medlock, and Bradley Lewis Medlock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Carlos Enoch and Clyde Enoch.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery with friends and family to serve as pallbearers.
