Earl Davis

Emery “Earl” Davis, age 89 of Paris, TN, died Monday, February 16, 2026, at his residence.

Earl was born October 27, 1936, to the late Carl Carter Davis and the late Grace Woodring Davis Hollars.

Earl is a U.S. Army veteran who enjoyed collecting things. He was an avid Nascar fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Carmi (Tansel) McCadams of Paris; one sister, Eula Davis (George) Johnson of Boone, NC; three grandchildren, Brian (Candace) McCadams, Brandon McCadams, James Legace and his family; three great-grandchildren, Makenna McCadams, Bella McCadams, and Hayden McCadams; and one nephew, Chad Johnson.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Bob” Davis.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., P.O Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. He is to be cremated. Memorial visitation will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
