Eric John Cary

Eric John Cary, age 45 of Paris, TN, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his residence.

He was born in Huntingdon, TN, on May 25, 1981. He is the son of Trudy Cary of Dukedom, TN. 

Eric married Jennifer Beckwith Cary on October 10, 2015. Jennifer survives of Paris, TN.

He was a member of TVCC. He worked at Lowe's in Paris for 13 years, where he enjoyed greeting customers, joking with people he knew, and building friendships with the contractors he worked with. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help others.

Eric loved cars and trucks and enjoyed helping his friends work on their vehicles. He also loved going to car shows, especially with his son. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. His biggest achievement was being a dad to his two children.

In addition to his wife, Eric is survived by two children, Makayla (Blake) Yearry of Murray, KY, and Brazen Cary; three sisters, Nicole (John) Norwood of Paris, TN, Donna Stafford of Dukedom, TN, and Megan Oksa of Middleburgh, NY; one brother, Wayne Collins of Dukedom, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Steve Gallimore and Cody Bryson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Bradley Hodges, Lane Grissom, Justin Johnson, Nick Jackson, Jason Wyatt, Nathan Blanton, and Blake Yearry serving as pallbearers.
