Erlene P. Williams

Erlene P. Williams, age 84 of Mansfield, TN, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Henry County Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Paris, TN, on September 15, 1941, to the late William “Bill” Pullen, and the late Nannie Thompson Pullen.

On December 23, 1961, she married Earl Baxter Williams, who preceded her in death on September 2, 2020.

She was one of the longest members of Mansfield Baptist Church, which she loved. She was a graduate of Henry School in 1959 and was a beloved member of the Henry School 59’ers. She retired from Emerson Electric Company after 20 years of service.

Erlene took great pride in living in Mansfield for most of her life and remembered the day her family moved to Mansfield by horse and wagon at a very young age. She loved her family and took care of her mother for 30 years. Erlene was an avid cook and known for her Banana Pudding and Cherry Crunch.

Erlene is survived by two children, Belinda (John) Bowers of Mansfield, TN, and David Earl (Jacqueline) Williams of Plumas Lake, CA; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bowers, Tripp Bowers, Abrahm Bowers, MacKenzie Williams, and Madeleine “Maddy” Frey.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Gerry Gallimore and Chad Kennedy officiating.

Burial will follow at New Beaverdam Cemetery with Tripp Bowers, Abrahm Bowers, Hunter Webb, Jackson Webb, Darius Hastings, and Randall Neal serving as pallbearers.

Jacob Pinson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
