Fannie Tinsley Brown

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling.  She worked 20 years at the Fashion Barn in Columbus, MS.  Fannie was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus where she sang in the choir.

Fannie was born May 20, 1929, in Brevard, NC to the late Abraham Elliott Tinsley and the late Beulah Bell Justus Tinsley.

She was married to Doyle Gordon Brown on April 23, 1948, and he preceded her in death on January 5, 2017.

Fannie is survived by three daughters, Andrea Brown (Larry) Miller of Paris, TN, Joni Brown (Pat) Gorman of Ellijay, GA, and Robin Brown (Ron) Betsch of Hattiesburg, MS; seven grandchildren, Ashley (TJ) Schmitt, Laura (Brad) Copeland, Taylor Gorman, Michelle (Joe) Yarborough, Mason Betsch, Mollie (Andrew) Tice, and Maggie (Michael) Vineyard; and 13 great grandchildren.  

Besides her husband and parents, Fannie was also preceded in death by one son, Doyle Gregory Brown; four brothers; and four sisters.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  A private graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens of Columbus, MS.
