Frances Diem

Frances L. Diem age 89 of Paducah, KY, formerly of Henry County, TN, died Monday, March 16, 2026, in Paducah.

Frances was Baptist in belief and had previously belonged to Shady Grove Baptist Church, Fairview Baptist Church, and was currently a member of Westwood Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed woodworking, crafts, sewing, and reading. Even in her later years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles.

She first married Quinton Boyd, then she married Ted Diem July 22, 1982, who preceded her in death November,6, 2013.

Born March 19, 1936, in Henry County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Ed Hart, and the late Aleur Barnhill Hart.

Frances is survived by three children, Shelia (Jim) Pierce of Paducah, Gail Boyd of Paducah, and Drex (Donna) Boyd of Paris, TN; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sons, Sahyon Boyd, Gary Boyd, and Terry Boyd; nine brothers and sisters; and two grandchildren, Miyah Davis, and Jason Davis.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the services. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Brian Wimberley officiating.

Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon Boyd, Hunter Boyd, Trevor Lowe, Tyler Lowe, Todd Boyd, and Colter Thurmond. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Hart, Nickey Evans, and Trenton Boyd.

Burial will follow the service in the Shady Grove Cemetery.
