Freddie Ray Lemonds, age 77 of Paris, died Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his residence.
Freddie was a member of the Paris Community of Christ Church. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years and was a U.S. Army Veteran where he served in Vietnam. He loved to travel out west and he loved all of his family.
Born June 9, 1944, in Paris, he was the son of the late George L. Lemonds and the late Dorothy Evans Lemonds.
He married on May 23, 1981, to wife Georgia A. Campbell Lemonds, who survives of Paris.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a his children, Amy (Zack) Zellars of Murfreesboro, TN, Kevin (Melissa) Lemonds of Murfreesboro, TN, Chad Clayton of Paris, TN, and Gary (Madonna) Clayton of Paris, TN; two sisters, Linda Nance and Sarah Lane both of Paris, TN; one brother, Tildon (Margaret) Lemonds of Paris, TN; five grandchildren, Bryan Clayton, Will Lemonds, Jordan Marcella, Wesley Lemonds, and Julia Marcella; and two great grandchildren, Hudsen Lemonds and Asyen Clayton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Madeline Collier, Theda Brown, and Wanda England; and seven brothers, Milburn Lemonds, James B. Lemonds, Joel Lemonds, Robert Lemonds, Darrell Lemonds, George Lee Lemonds, and Johnny Lemonds.
Ridgeway Funeral Home is in charge his cremation. There will be a memorial visitation on July 2, 2022, from 10:00 am – 11:30 am at the Paris Community of Christ Church with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 am.
