Gary Lynn Tharpe

Gary Lynn Tharpe age 73 of Paris died Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his residence.

 Gary retired from the Paris Special School System where he worked as a custodian. He had previously worked at the Paris Landing Inn where he was a server. Gary loved to dance and work outside. He had previously attended Sparks Street Church of Christ.

 Born June 20, 1951, in Paris, he was the son of the late Samuel D. Tharpe and the late Lorine Schooling Tharpe.

 Survivors include his brother Gather Tharpe; special cousins, Donna Tharpe and Merl Tharpe, and a special friend Dorothy Clark.

 Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St. Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. His body is to be cremated with a memorial graveside service to be held Friday, July 19, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery with Carlton Gerrell officiating.
