Gaynelle McClain Quesenberry

Gaynelle McClain Quesenberry age 88 of Memphis, TN, formerly of Henry County, died Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital Collierville, in Collierville, TN.

Gaynelle was a retired LPN having worked for Dr. Ross, and at Henry County Medical Center. A member of the Grove High School graduating Class of 1954, she enjoyed painting and needlework. She was a thirty-four-year member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, TN; and was currently a member of the Kirby Woods Baptist Church in Memphis.

Born August 17, 1936, in Johnson City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Dorris McClain and the late Gladys Allen McClain.

Her husband of 61 years, Joseph David Quesenberry, preceded her in death January 29, 2022.

She is survived by her son, David Lee Quesenberry of Memphis, TN; a niece Stacey (Tommy) McClain Wright and her family of Germantown, TN; and a nephew, Mark McClain and his family of Oakland, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, D.A. McClain.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the services. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at Memorial Cemetery.

Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery.
