George Michael "Mike" Browne

George Michael “Mike” Browne, age 75 of Dover, TN passed away Monday, August 11, 2025, at Henry County Healthcare Center under Hospice care surrounded by his wife, Mary, his son Michael and his wife Leslie, his brother Rick, and his nephew Ricky who all loved and cared deeply for him.

Mike was born October 1, 1949, in Winter Haven, FL to the late George Albert Browne and the late Doris Hammond Browne.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Evans Browne of Dover, TN; son Michael (Leslie) Browne of Cocoa, FL; brother, Rick (Debbie) Browne of Titusville, FL; three grandsons; three step grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.

Mike retired after 32 years from Florida Power and Light as an Overhaul Supervisor. He later worked for Orlando Utilities until 2012. He then moved with his wife Mary to their special place in Tennessee.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN will be handling arrangements. He is to be Cremated.

Being an avid surfer, a service for family and friends will be held in Florida at a later date for his ashes to be scattered in the ocean at his request.
