He Formerly attended Paris Community Bible Church. He Retired after 56 years as a brick mason for Elkins Construction Co. He was A wonderful father that loved his children very much. Many People enjoyed working with him. He was Very well respected & thought of in Henry County Tennessee.
He was the son of the late Melvin Elkins and the late Alice Caroline Sanders Elkins.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Lisa (Jonathan) Allen of McCaysville, Ga., Christy (Robert) McIntosh of Lake City, Tenn., Two Sons, Tony (Sharon) Elkins of Buchanan, Tenn., Scott (Annette) Elkins of Camden, Tenn., One Sister, Evelyn Axtell of Mountain Home, Idaho, Two Brothers, Gary (Debbie) Elkins of Buchanan, Tenn., Danny Elkins of Puryear, Tenn.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. - P.O. Box 788, Paris, Tenn., where visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2013 and after 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
The Funeral service will be at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2013 , Gary Greer is officiating.
Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tenn.
