Glen Robert Loy, age 84 of Paris, TN, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Paris.
Glen was a member of Henry Baptist Church and had served as a Deacon at several former churches. He enjoyed playing bass guitar, gospel quartets, fishing, old cars, and redoing old furniture. He formerly worked as parts manager for Joe Mahan Ford, Midway Nissan, and Peppers.
He was born August 13, 1940, in Indianapolis, IN to the late William Loy and the late Sally Imogene Lawless Loy.
Glen married Cheryl Rae Perry Loy on December 24, 1957, and she survives of Paris, TN.
Besides his wife, Glen is survived by four children, Terri Norwood (Donald) Dunning of Paris, TN, Gwen (Gary) Allen of Henry, TN, Nanette Williams and fiancé Allen Cartmell of Martin, TN, and Robert Eugene (Cindy) Loy of Raleigh, SC; one sister, Marcella Nickert of Arizona; one brother, Terry William (Paula) Loy of Salem, NC; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Glen was also preceded in death by one sister, Karen Kumler; and one nephew, Robert Nickerent.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN. The body is to be cremated. Memorial visitation will be at Ridgeway Funeral Home on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 2 – 3 pm with a memorial service at 3:00 pm with Bro. John Sutton officiating.
