Guy Dudley Pate

Guy Dudley Pate, age 82 of Paris, TN, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Henry County Hospital.

Dudley was born in McKenzie, TN, on March 14, 1944, to the late Thurman Newton Pate, and the late Dorothy Story Kennon.

He married Melinda Wilson Pate on September 11, 2005. Melinda survives of Paris, TN.

Dudley was a believer in Jesus and spent many years working as a truck driver and logger. He enjoyed motorcycles, tractors, and antique cars, as well as spending time outdoors.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three children, Sheila (Ricky) Winchester of Paris, TN, Suzzette (Jay) Harris of Cleveland, TN, and Alicia (Justin) DeGuise of Paris, TN; one brother, Kenny (Debbie) Kennon of Paris, TN; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. His remains are to be cremated with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
