Harold Dotson

Harold Dotson, age 88 of Springville, TN, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.

He was born March 20, 1937, in Louellen, KY, to the late William Dotson, and the late Rosalie King Dotson.

On April 18, 1964, Harold married Ethel “Red” Dotson, who preceded him in death on November 27, 2018.

Harold served time in the U.S. Army and the Air Force. He spent more than 20 years at Southern Clay Co. in Paris, TN. He enjoyed fishing, riding his golf cart, and spending time being “paw” to his grandchildren.

Harold is survived by his three children, William “Bill” (Brenda) Dotson of Tennessee Ridge, TN; Brenda Dotson of Springville, TN; Ronnie (Susan) Dotson of Springville, TN; one brother, Larry Dotson of Russel Springs, KY; one sister-in-law, Ruth Dotson; six grandchildren, Bobby (Kim) Dotson, Brittany Dotson, Bonnie Dotson, Emily (Brandon) Bryant, Dustin Enoch, Tiffany (Chris) Miller; and 12 great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Dylan, Brystol, McKinley, Ethan, Lakin, Braden, Lucas, Noah, Aspen, Brinton, Able; neighbors, Jones, Brooks, and Larry Buckley.

In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Dotson, and William Dotson; two sisters, Helen Gilbert, and Carol Dotson; and sister in law, Linda Dotson.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Bobby Dotson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Bill Dotson, Ronnie Dotson, Brian Fields, Ethan Dotson, Koby Perry, and Tim Berry.
