Ingeborg Jopek-Whitecoe

Ingeborg Magdalena Jopek-Whitecoe, age 82 of Paris, TN, died Thursday, December 8, 2022, at her residence.

She worked for Kerkstra Middle School in Oak Forest, IL.  She loved crocheting, word searches, and watching NCIS.

Ingeborg was born August 26, 1940, in Erlangen, Germany to the late Joseph Georg Karl Weinecke and Magdalena Schmitt Weinecke.

She was married September 10, 2002, to John William Whitecoe, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by one daughter, Jeanette (Edmund) Riley of Springville, TN; three sons, Mike Jopek of Kenosha, WI, Dan (Maureen) Jopek of Tinley Park, IL, and Jim (Dawn) Jopek of Mokena, IL; her grandchildren who called her “Omi”; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; and one brother.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
