James Mark Higdon

James Mark Higdon, age 60 of Paris, TN, died Saturday December 27, 2025, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, in Jackson, TN.

James had a passion for woodworking, specifically cabinetry and table making. He was employed at I.C.I. in Paris constructing industrial furniture.

Born December 4, 1965, in Huntingdon, TN, he was the son of the late Edward Higdon and the late Mary Pritchard Higdon.

James married Deborah Doede Higdon October 21, 2005, who survives of Paris.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by his nephew Jeff (Amanda) Higdon and his sister-in-law, Reba Higdon, both of Camden, TN.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Vernon Higdon and Larry Higdon.

Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap St./ P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242, will be handling the arrangements. The body is to be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
