Jim Morgan

James Harold “Jim” Morgan, age 74 of Paris, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Patriot Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Chicago, IL, on February 17, 1952, to the late William Harold Morgan and the late Mary Salyer Morgan.

He married Terry Spitler Morgan on August 21, 1971. Terry preceded him in death April 30, 2025.

Jim enjoyed working and spending time with his family. He dedicated 52 years to Joe Mahan Ford in Paris. He loved attending and hosting car shows as a member of the Tennessee Valley Auto Club, and racing cars with the Richardson family. Jim was also a kidney transplant recipient.

He is survived by two children, Jaime (Michael) Hendrix of Puryear, TN, and Nick (Cait O’Meally) Morgan of Juneau, AK; two granddaughters, Sophie Hendrix and Beth Hendrix; two nephews, Donnie Archie, David Archie, and their families.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jim was preceded by one sister, Joyce Ann Archie.

Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242, is handling the arrangements. His remains are to be cremated with a private family memorial service to be held at a later date.
